Real Madrid scraped through a dramatic 3–2 victory over Borussia Dortmund at MetLife Stadium, thanks to early dominance, a late fightback, and a stoppage-time winner.

Real looked comfortable early: Gonzalo García opened the scoring inside 15 minutes, followed by a curling effort from Fran García that made it 2–0 by halftime. Dortmund seemed deflated.

But they reignited in the closing minutes. Beier headed in a set-piece in the 88th, and Serhou Guirassy converted a penalty soon after to level the score and deliver chaos.

Just as the stadium held its breath, Kylian Mbappé, fittingly in Real’s colors, hammered home a thunderous volley in stoppage time to win itThibaut Courtois then made a last-second save to seal the result.

The final whistle unleashed pandemonium: relief for Real Madrid, heartbreak for Dortmund. Real progress to face PSG in what is now a European heavyweight semi-final at the MetLife Stadium on July 9th.
